FH, where did you find that out?

(I've been too lazy to look at the game notes.)

Someone with acute lactose intolerance whom I knew had one in his mid-20s.

Hey Zeke, how'd that KC game go tonight? :D

Zeke, you're taking the grief for me. ;)

Twins have still won 19 of their last 21 games, which is very impressive. You knew they weren't going to go undefeated the rest of the season.

Tomorrow's another game, and (hopefully) the start of a new winning streak.

The Twinks should have a two-game losing streak. Fucking Ambiorix Burgos

Probably gonna jinx him, but Roy Halladay is doing very nice work in Texas tonight for the Jays.

You can track his career success to the moment he decided to stop pitching his knuckle curve. He loved that thing as much as the baby Jesus, but more hitters have gone down with Yellow Fever than they have swinging at that goddamn pitch.

Um, wasn't that really John Buck's fault?

At any rate, how about some love for David DeJesus? He's now batting over .330 and was at .255 on June 23. He's batting .490 in his 11-game hitting streak. If he was in New York or Boston, he'd be on the final list for the final all-star.

Another one bites the dust ... 11-game winning streak for the Twinkies zapped by the Royals.

I didn't see any highlights, but Buck is a catcher, not a goalie. I'm all for a great splitter, but if he's burying the damn thing, he doesn't need to be throwing it.

Second the nod about DeJesus. If he's healthy all season, I'd wager KC is seven to 10 games better at this point

Just nine minutes later, and B.J. Ryan's called in to clean up a mess. I am such a jinxing douchenozzle.

Well, Buck did a decent job of blocking an in-the-dirt splitter, and it skidded a bit away. Twin runs to third, and Buck just needed a good throw to nail him. Play wouldn't have been close had the throw been good, but Buck chucks it into left field. Blame all around actually. But heck, that's ancient history! KC came back very well after that defeat and clobbered the hottest team in baseball.

    That was almost pretty gross.

Halladay becomes the American League's first 11-game winner, after Ryan nearly gags it.

Mets have something like 19 one-run wins. At the All-Star break last year, the Washington Nationals had the most one-run wins in baseball and everyone knows what happened to them in the second half.
