Where were the Twins and/or Tigers fans? Why didn't they go on-line and vote 25 times each as they could have.

Meanwhile, tonight's starting CF for the Mets... Eli Marrero!
Not like you could give Beltran a night off and use Endy Chavez.

Congrats, White Sox fans. You're now as annoying and overbearing as Yankees and Red Sox fans.

In case I haven't said it before: How much do I love Ryan Zimmerman?

Sorry, Doc, that's the way MLB and FOX want it...fans vote.
Can't blame the White Sox fans if the Twins and Tigers fans didn't vote enough.

Given the state of the rotation, it's hard to imagine Pelfrey's heading back to the minors anytime soon.

And how much have the Red Sox enjoyed the past week? First they tattoo Pedro, now it turns out they sent him to the DL too.

But it was blind fucking fanboy worship. No baseball fan could possibly believe Asshole Jerkoff Pierzynski is more All-Star worthy than Liriano and/or Verlander.

Blind fucking fanboy worship drives All-Star voting...and stadium turnstiles.

Let's face it: Those who cheer for a lot of these guys, warts and all, are blind fucking fanboy worshippers.

The people in Chicago believe it because they probably hate Liriano and Verlander.
Geez, doc, it's a fucking fanboy contest, nothing more.

You're right, of course. Probably why I haven't watched the All-Star Game in about five years.

Can't argue with your logic there.

Capuano should get in still, replacing Pedro on the NL roster.

9-4 record, 3.45 ERA, 106 K, 25 BB, 1.22 WHIP, 16 of 18 quality starts and well on his way to making that 17 of 19 against the Cubs (ok, that's not hard to do). Plus, he finished second in the Final Vote ballot.

Of course, Oswalt is an Astro and Garner is managing ... so you never know.

Ken Griffey, Jr., has dropped two routine fly balls tonight against the Braves. Maybe he should try steroids.

BTW, has anyone noticed the Angels are back?
