Hey Moddy, or anyone. Any update on Patterson yet? I'm about to trade for him.

    Don't.
Forearm strain. Re-evaluated after the break.

He was gone 60 days before he came back from the last one, lasted four starts.

If he pitches again this year, I'll be stunned.

Nats are trying their best to blow a 7-1 lead. It's 7-5 now. Stanton, of all people, came in and settled things down.

Thanks a lot for the help. Is that the same injury he just came back from? Do you think he'd be worth it just to help my playoff push the last month?

The sun is a large object. Eventually, it finds every dog's ass.

Sorry about your boy Patterson, hopefully it's not related to the elbow and hopefully he's just a softie like Prior.

I love that you're a stat guy, Lou. But we can't live a life of "ifs."

    Fact is he's 10-4 with a 3.21 ERA.

Actually, we damn sure can live with "ifs." :D

If Capuano hadn't enjoyed three starts against the dogass Cubs, his ERA would be 4.02.

Hey Moddy, what's your son doing for a living now? The way Nats starters are dropping like flies maybe he can start for them. What are they down to, two healthy starters and O'Connor, whom they optioned out this week so he could get a start during the Break?

I watched SportsCenter with closed captionining while working out and tried to follow along during the story on Wright. Were they trying to call him the Mets' best 3rd baseman of all time, or the the best 3rd baseman of all time?

David Wright's tears cure cancer. Too bad David Wright never cries.
