Way to throw everyone under the bus. I know he's 94 and in IDGAF mode, but c'mon.

FYI, he previously said he was retiring. He can't say he's leaving because the NFL is so horrible.

 

That the NFL deviated from standard field prep for the Super Bowl due to logistical issues should be a big issue. "but the halftime show needed to practice, but we needed to put temporary seats in" shouldn't be a valid excuse - nor should the "field met NFL guidelines" be a suffient response. I'm thinking Toma's understudy was eager to appease NFL higher-ups in hopes of a promotion and didn't explain why deviating from what needed to be done (time to dry out, extra sand) would lead to what we saw in the Super Bowl.
