Nah. He's the one who motivated the Bears by calling them "crybabies."

I was nervous a hell in the first half when the 49ers were dominant. But when it got late and in overtime, I had faith in Mahomes.

Maybe. But one of those luxury boxes in Vegas might have cost more than total revenue brought into the Coliseum for Super Bowl I.

    OT should be really simple.

Visiting team (even in a neutral site) gets a choice.

Take the ball at their own 15… or
Opponent takes the ball at their own 15.

    First score wins.

    Done.

Or just make it a tie. It was a shame either team had to win that game.

Also worth mentioning: The Chiefs had five fumbles and only lost one (the early one that Pacheco lost inside the 10). And the fumble McCaffrey lost early, the Chiefs recovered it when their one guy got there a split-second before three 49ers did.
Hidden plays that go to your point about not taking advantage of the opportunities that they had to really put the Chiefs in a bind.

Here’s another what if to drive Niners fans crazy: What if they had the three draft picks back from moving up for Trey Lance? Think that might have netted enough incremental talent to get them over the hump?

I’m just glad my team has Mahomes. KC fans wandered in the wilderness for decades and decades, so I don’t feel one bit of remorse for the teams the Chiefs defeat.

I doubt Mahomes can match Brady’s title totals, but three is elite. If he could get four or five, he might be the next goat, maybe the best of all time. Montana and Bradshaw have something to say about it, though.
