Yep. Guess here is they scrap it all and go back to geographical reality sometime around 2020 or whenever the Iraqis bomb the darn ESPN satellite farm.

    So is our David Jones.

Jones almost had it like that, but he switched Maryland and Minnesota in more of a north-south setup.

    Who?

I mean, I've actually heard of Feinstein and understand why someone would link to his work . . .

Never met David Jones, but in another life I read his stuff pretty regularly, and he's no bullshit. I consider him an opinion worth reading.

Until he gets all weepy at the end with the usual cliches regarding money and such, Forde's take was pretty solid:

What administrator at Maryland or Rutgers is selling the move as an "upgrade via excellence on the field"? The Maryland AD and President didn't hide the fact that this was a money grab.

  9. Forde and anyone else at ESPN can shut the hell up about money and college athletics. It's bush league at this point, unless he tells his bosses to go f--- themselves.

Well Forde did tell his ESPN bosses to fuck off to a degree when he left for Yahoo!.

So East Carolina to the Big East for football only and Tulane to the league for all sports?
