BCS leagues expanding - yeah?

MTSU was widely believed to be the backup plan if ODU decided not to accept the invitation this summer, so that's no surprise. I would think Western Kentucky would be a better fit for the 14th team, unless CUSA really likes the F_U gag on ESPN's Bottom 10 and invites Florida Atlantic. Can't imagine NMSU brings in anything at all that they don't already have, unless UTEP is moving to the MWC. ODU could use a closer playmate with ECU leaving, but who? JMU and Delaware are about it for candidates and nobody's talking either.

 

Yeah, I don't think FAU will be the domino for CUSA. That league already has that market.

 

Then again, McMurphy just tweeted that FAU is gone to CUSA. Fuck logic, I guess.

 

Middle Tennessee is a good pickup. Florida Atlantic is ... isn't there anyone else in Florida they can get? West Florida? Lynn? St. Leo's? Key West High School?
