It’s nice to be a reformed Vols fan and not give a crap about college football...

I’m a Bama fan. I still give a crap about college football but for the first time in my life I can see a path where I wouldn’t.

Ok, this sounds nuts but I'll post it anyhow, if only for y'all to laugh at. It's from a Facebook friend but I can't speak to the validity of it.

It sounds crazy to me, too. You'll see what I'm talking about in a sec.

"Okay; Had an in depth chat with the ACC's Commissioner (Mr. J. Phillips) Assistant. I am told (though NOT finalized), The Big12 will realign adding 3-4 universities.

The ACC has eyes on realigning, including 3-5 universities. Those universities are, Notre Dame, UAB, West Virginia, UCF, & Memphis (other considered universities; ECU & Marshall).
We are to follow up our conversation Thursday afternoon. I'll update as I learn more."

If you are going to add Memphis and stretch that far west, I'd just go a little further and at TCU. Hell, might as well add Baylor and TCU over Memphis and UAB.

Please. You'll be shitting Tiffany cuff links the moment the Vols start 9-0.

I’ll say it again. What’s left of the Big 12 should merge with the American, keeping the Big 12 identity … and maybe even the playoff bid.

Cincinnati is not a football school. Full stop.

I have a friend who is a Texas grad who was telling me how much she hates this… “but I can’t stop watching because I love college football.” Well then you’re a fool. It’s like the people who hate the causes Chick Fil A donate to but won’t stop rolling through the drive through for a chicken sammich.

They played in 3 straight bowl games under Tuberville ...

... but lost all 3 by an average of 4 touchdowns.

But they did make the Orange Bowl which makes them a football school like UConn.

Idiots lined up three lanes, 15 deep at the CFL near me during the pandemic. I screamed, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" as I drove by, startling a number of people in my car.

In fairness most of the money is going to the CfA franchisee, not corporate.

I will eat something… horribly disgusting… if UAB gets an ACC invite. (No offense meant to UAB fans.)
