If CU is 1-4 going into that first bye, Deion can pack up his office on the off week.

Not much change in travel for the former Pac-12 teams. Just really bland schedules. No USC, no Washington, no Oregon, no marquee opponents at all. To me, without Texas and Oklahoma, the Big 12 is just a collection of flyover blah. Other's mileage may vary, of course.

The atmosphere is going to be electric in Sun Devil Stadium when they host Central Florida in a conference game this season.

    Good seats are still available.

Wow, you are so correct. I can't find one game that would be the most interesting national game...not one. Bland really describes it.

True - but that is a damn good basketball conference. Maybe the best top to bottom.

Tennessee Attorney General Announces Antitrust Lawsuit Against NCAA Over NIL Investigation

Tennessee, Virginia AGs suing NCAA over NIL-related recruiting rules with Vols under investigation.

Might just be politicians waving their pompon, but then again - I remember when people thought Ed O'Bannon was tilting at windmills when he filed his lawsuit 16 years ago. I do think the college sports eco-system is so fragile right now though - I have no doubt this suit will cost somebody's kid a scholarship.

Has anyone still in the biz received a complaint that an article cost somebody's kid an NIL deal yet? It's coming.

Everyone would have been much better off if the NCAA had simply allowed players make a deal with the video game company for the use of their image.

Talking with a recent ex-college player this weekend, NIL is still pretty loosey-goosey even in sub-P4 country. Basically any company can pay into a program for "services." (I don't mean it THAT way.)

Still waiting for Mattress Mack to turn North Texas into Tuscaloosa.

The Power 2 is being formed.

    from Pete Thamel’s Twitter …

Sources: The SEC and Big Ten are set to announce that they are setting up an advisory committee. It’s expected to look at the entire college sports landscape and solutions within it.
