Sounds like Big Ben, who had a miserable Super Bowl one year ago. Of course, the Steelers still won.

Except in the regular season and the playoff games before the Super Bowl, Roethlisberger was better than Grossman.

So was Jaworski the year he took the Eagles to the Super Bowl.

Maybe Grossman will be better than those guys in the long run, but right now he's not.

I hear Rex's is planning a gigantic Groundhog Day bash ... that could turn into a major distraction.

While I already picked the Colts earlier in this thread and stand by my reasoning, justice requires a game I attended offers Bears' fans ample reason for optimism.
On Nov. 26, Chicago played the Pats in Foxboro. I think we can all agree that's at least as tough a hand as playing the Colts at a neutral site. In addition, the game took place in the middle of Grossman's deepest funk. He stunk all afternoon.
And yet, although the Bears lost, the final score was only 17-13, and Chicago had the ball with a chance to win at game's end. The Bears' defense drove Brady to distraction, forcing three or four turnovers.
You win or lose a Super Bowl with your aces. If the Bear defense matches what it did against New England, Chicago will have its opportunities to win this game.
Besides, maybe Brady could fake Urlacher out of his jock, but I don't think Peyton can.

Pats smoked and mirrored their way to Indianapolis.

Indy has the best skill set in the NFL (QB, RB, TE, 2WR).... by far.

  7. There you go with your hyperbole again. By far? Really? The Saints and Chargers don't even merit a mention?

Agreed, the Chargers compare well with the Colts.

    Manning > Rivers
    Addai < Tomlinson
    Rhodes < Neal
    Harrison > Whoever
    Wayne > Whoever
    Clark < Gates

Arizona has a great group of skill players. This game will be won up front, just like most football games are. The Colts did a good job of giving Manning all kinds of time in the AFC title game. The Bears did a good job of disrupting the Saints in the backfield. There sure weren't many rushing yards for McAllister and Bush last Sunday

If the Colts can force the Bears to bring more than five players to generate pressure on Manning, they should win. If the Bears front four can force pressure on their own and allow the back seven to play coverage, the Bears are going to have a great chance.

    Don't be a moron.

    No they don't.

    Manning... best QB in NFL
Addai, Top 10 back in NFL
Clark, Top 3 TE in the NFL
Wayne, Top 6-8 WR in NFL
Harrison, top 10-12 WR in NFL

    YOU try matching that up.

And... I certainly hope that that moron Oz's sarcasm font was on.

I don't think you should compare Neil and Rhodes. Neil is more of a blocker. Rhodes is there for running the football. I think you should compare Rhodes to Michael Turner.

Who's their QB? crickets (in two years... get back to me ... then you can lay that down)
Who's their TE? less than crickets
And, is their second WR as good as Indy's? Maybe.Maybe
