Nope, it wasn't. I would still take the Colts, but with the best player at two different positions (Tomlinson, Gates) in the NFL, it's hard not to put them in the same class.

And Chuck, sub in Michael Turner for Neal and I would still favor the Chargers there.

    Redd,

This is the same guy who picked the Bears to reach the Super Bowl on our initial playoff thread, then spent two weeks picking against them.

    Don't bother.

And Lt., don't you mean the Colts have the greatest skill set in NFL history?

    The Colts are toast. :'(

Dr. Z (aka "I can't pick half the games right straight up") is picking Indy 34-24.

Yeah, but didn't Dr. Z pick the Colts to beat both the Ravens and Patriots, too?

I don't remember his Ravens prediction, but he picked the Pats to beat the Colts.

Boom70 was on here pontificating how the "great" Dr. Z analyzed things correctly as opposed to PK's "weekly fellatio on Manning."

NE had five turnovers in that game (2 picks, 3 fumbles). And Tommie Harris was still playing. He got hurt two weeks later.

I'd agree though ... if Harris comes back and forces 5 turnovers, the Bears will be in the game.

I'd say Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Bolden are just as good as Harrison and Wayne. Edgerrin James is better than Addai or Rhodes.

The difference is that Indianapolis' offensive line give the skill players, Manning et al. the opportunity to have success. Way to misinterpret the entire premise of the post Lt.

After my pro-Bears coach, I call a rebuttal idea to the stand. If the Colts offensive line plays as well as it did against New England, Chicago has no chance and will lose by a significant margin, 10-20 points.

I agree Michael, the more people they have to bring to try and pressure Manning, the harder it's going to be.

Exactly. When you're trying to make a team, you should always start from the inside out.

James is not better than Addai.

And, Manning, at the most important position on the field, is exponentially better than Leinart.

And, again, who do the Cards have to match up with Dallas Clark?
