Addai was splitting time with Rhodes, so comparing his production as a part-timer to James' as a full-timer is disingenious.

Actually, that makes the argument right there. James wouldn't be splitting time with Rhodes had he been there this season, like Addai, because James is the better back.

The Colts have won nine games this year by seven points or less.

For all intents and purposes, the Bears were blown out of one game this year (you can count the Packers pileon in the finale if you want).

This is not going to be a blowout. Bears will cover...and win.

And Columbo, I presume this will be a catharsis just like the Colts were going to destroy the Patriots?

I started out in the "Colts Blowout" camp, but I am slowly coming to the 'close game' or even "I can see the Bears winning" camp.

All the Bears do is win. Somehow, they win, even with the injuries and Grossman.

I personally hope Indy wins, for Manning's and Dungy's sake, but I hope the Bears cover, and I'm not going to be mad if they win, either.

I mean, they beat the Saints by 25. Twenty-freaking-five!

I didn't have money backing that prediction.

I will gladly come on here and acknowledge the error in my ways if the Bears cover (along with the -15 1/2 at 2-1, I also have the standard -7, u48 parlay)

Last time I was on the wrong side of a SB bet was in 2001, when my Ravens - 2 1/2, Under 33 went up in smoke with the 21 points that were scored on returns in a 36-second span midway through the third quarter.

Last time I had the side wrong ATS was in 1999 (Falcons + 7 1/2).

But, underdogs have been 6-3-2 ATS the past 11 years, and perhaps I am due for one of those occasional disasters.

It happens to me just like anyone else, just very infrequently in the Super Bowl.

Is that movie any good, btw? Never saw it.
