    Hurdles?

How are our relay teams looking?

Yea, the hurdles. Sorry. Skipped a word there.

If Bolt and Powell are running, the Jamaicans win the 4-x-100. US should win 4-x-400

The Chinese pitchers might be the worst I've ever seen outside of high school.

Jeremy Wariner runs the 400, correct?

    And he will win.

Thanks, I thought so. I'm definitely interested in seeing him, though as a former middle distance guy in high school, I'll be paying attention to the 800 too. The times those guys put up are un-freaking-believable.

Yea, the Chinese didn't sweep the men's gymnastics golds. No gold in the vault for them!

Actually, the 800 times haven't be all that great.
The world record 1:41.11 is 11 years old and no one has come within a 1.25 seconds if it since.
Best time of 2008 is 1:42.69. US best this year is Symmonds' 1:44.10. Pretty mundane, really.

Thanks for the info, spnited. That's interesting, considering the amount of world records that seem to be dropping like flies lately. 1:41.11 is blazing fast, but 1.25 seconds is a pretty wide margin.

In a completely unsurprising development, fuckbuckets on sports radio are starting to bitch out the U.S. basketball team (both of them really) for "piling it on" and "running up the score" against "unfairly outmatched opponents."

They're getting on the softball team too, but usually as a prelude to diatribes on how "nobody cares about wimmens sports" and how Jennie Finch needs to "go Playboy" ASAP.
