If you can't hold a 30-point lead do you deserve to win?

Of course not, and the best way to hold a 30-point lead is to turn it into a 40-point lead.

Not only that but the catcher was still blocking the plate on that collision. It's his own damn fault.

Fuck NBC. They replayed the footage of the Chinese hurdler who pulled out because of injury and dubbed in completely different commentary in prime time from what I watched live this morning.

But both Hammond and Boldon were taking in past tense, like the were reviewing what happened...not dubbing over a live event.
They showed Liu trying to warm-up and not being able to go over 2nd hurdle and Boldon said "This was when I thoiught he wouldn't even come out fore the start of the race."

I had no problem with it. It was like a look back on what happened.

    Yes, those eyes.
That body. She's a world record holder in my book.
    World class, she is.

Something similar just happened with the mens 400 meter hurdles.

Before the race they talked about three things.

    1. The U.S. not sweeping in 48 years.
    2. The world record holder (Kevin Young/US/1992) picking underdog Angelo Taylor to win.
    3. One of the guys needing to not stutter step to win the race. (The 10th hurdle especially because it changes momentum)

Then the race happened. The U.S. swept. Young's prediction came true. Taylor wins, because the other guy from the U.S. stutter stepped the last hurdle. I realized all of this before I tuned in here. I wasn't happy with it. Sort of shitty.

I doubt Clements would have won even without the studder step. Taylor was ahead by more than a step before the studder steps. The only thing the studder step did was made 2nd and 3rd place a lot closer
