  1. He might have been one of the happiest gold-medal winners I've ever seen.

They should go 1-2 in the 400, but I think Chris Brown from the Bahamas gets third.

Eh, I have to work every once in a while for some reason.

I was at beach volleyball this morning. It was funny, they had both western and Asian cheerleaders for the first game, but then for the second game brought out an all-Asian squad.

Hungary - France Handball on USA - I can die now. When you've seen handball (and table tennis) you know you've seen all the Olympics has to offer.

Remember that slogan they had a few years ago for their summer reruns?

    "If you haven't seen it . . . it's live to you!"

When did they change the women's uneven bars?

I was just looking at that famous performance by Olga Korbut in 1972.

Seems like the bars were closer together then, and the women often hit the lower bar with their midsection to propel them to another move. Much more interesting, IMO. But the bars seem too far apart today for anyone to do that.

I saw that last night. Great interview. I'm not much for pole vaulting but watching her go for - and then set -the record was pretty exciting.

Bolt is officially just toying with the competition. In his semi of the 200 tonight he just ran next to Crawford in the last 100 looking at over at him a few times, while never really looking like he was exerting much energy.
