The Chinese are just insane at diving. Most of these competitions are over before they begin.

    Sirs, Madames,

Best name of the Games, China's trampolinist: Dong Dong.

I know he has endorsement potential but I'm not sure which product.

I asked this on the Canadian-boycott threat: The U.S. has ten times the population of Canada, yet significant less than ten times the medal total. Are the Americans under-performing?

    YD&OHS, etc

Good on former Michigan kid, Nick Willis, finishing 3rd in the 1500m for New Zealand.

Here are some points from an ESPN.com article today that I thought were relevant to the discussion.

Have fun with Nastia and Torres.

I'm estatic about the Nigerian mens soccer team making it to the Gold medal game against Argentina.

My super eagles are looking to repeat their triumph over the South Americans, defeating them for the gold medal in Atlanta 12 years ago.

Hopefully, the Argentinians won't burn down the Nigerian embassy this time around if Nigeria wins again.

Have any of you noticed the bikini-clad wiggly wiggly dancers during breaks in the action of the beach volleyball?

No, but I did notice the bikini-clad wiggly wiggly volleyball players during the action.

I've seen more of Misty May's body the last two weeks than my wife's.

I have never seen a bigger horse's ass than Rick Suhr, the "coach" of US pole vaulter Jenn Stuczynski. His "pep talk" after her silver was pathetic, mean spritited and disgusting.

She should dump his ass, like this today.
