So they had first and third with nobody out and couldn't get the runner home?

    Ouch.

Edit: And I thought all they ever did was bunt.

Is Shawn Johnson making a political statement with her peace sign earrings? I hope.

I wasn't watching it tonight, but I did notice it the other night when I was watching.

I'm watching it on nbcolympics.com ... Japan has one down, runner on second.

Scoreless going to the ninth inning now.

I noticed the Czech judge (I'm assuming that's what CZE means) giving consistently low scores compared to his/her counterparts in the men's 3M springboard.

    It's interesting...

Good for Shawn Johnson tonight, too.

She's 16. I can't see her being politically aware enough to do something like that on purpose.

    Nonetheless she's a pleasant girl.

    Hey look, a run.

Lowe singled and Watley scored from second.

Lowe singles in Watley .. U.S. up 1-0, top of the ninth.

When I was younger than that I wore peace sign earrings as a political statement against the first gulf war. There are 16-year-olds who are that politically aware. Not saying she's one of them, but they do exist.
