Beer . . .

The mini-keg is an interesting concept.. the mere thought of Heineken Light, however, makes me wanna puke.

 

Before it got a full launch, I got a sample of it in a bar. It was very faithful in the taste of the original.

This coming from a man who hates thought of light beer

There's more real beer than fake out there. My local supermarket has gone crazy with smaller labels recenetly, and I'm in heaven as a result.

 

Last year when I went to Europe, I loved the Belgium beers. Yum.

 

You know, Claws, I've been trying to think of the Belgian brew I had at a place in NYC (Cafe du Bruxelles in the West Village) last year .. came in 25.5 oz. bottles.. can't for the life of me remember what it was, other than great.

 

Highly underrated is Belgian beer. My dad had an appartment there for work for a while, and would bring back beer all the time.

I know a place around here where I can get some Chimay.

 

When I stepped off the train in Brussels, I found a bar and quickly downed some Belgium beer called Leffe Brown.
