Stone Ruination or just the regular Stone IPA? The Ruination is very tasty.

I haven't tried the Ruination. If I see some at the store, i'll pick it up.

see that's just weird to me. at home, we call those stores safeways ... but they also sell every other type of grocery you might want to buy at that moment.

don't your grocery stores offer a solid selection of beers?

Better known stateside as Smithwick's (pronounced Smithicks).

I'm pining for the day they make a Quadrupel Bock.

Real Bavarian beer starts and ends with Weizen, although I enjoy a good Pils from the Main Valley too.

I've got a Wegmans in my town and while their selection is pretty nice, it does get boring having the same thing available every time. They really don't rotate many beers.

I've never actually heard of a "safeway" before. The only beer store near me solely sells beer and even has a couple on tap for tastings. All the grocery stores here sell a good enough selection to pick from, but it's hard to find a wide variety of imported beer aside from the usual grocery store pick-ups.

safeway is a regular old grocery store in the PNW. most of them i've been to pretty much have a full isle of beer. in retrospect, i guess i have been to a specialty store for beer, but damn, they're few and far inbetween where i come from. but then again, i usually just drank PNW micros.

thanks. i really had no idea what you were getting at.

I should have made clear: I tried to man up, but just couldn't do it.

Dumping was the last resort, I promise you.

And I'm the kind of guy who, if my wife and I are leaving the restaurant, will polish off her drink because I'm not a fan of leaving alcohol on the table.
