Bringing this back from the dead to proudly announce that Wegmans (big grocery store in the NY/PA area) is carrying Beamish. One of my favorite stouts. Someday, I'll be excited when I can sit down at an actual pub in Ireland and get a Guiness or something of that sort from the tap. All I ever hear are beautiful stories.

    That is all.

Got a sixer of St. Pauli Girl lager for $5.99 at the local Albertson's. Now waiting at home in the fridge.

Mike's Light Hard Lemonade. Possibly the girliest beer-type drink ever.

You can! They have fuzzy navel wine coolers!

Best drink at a restaurant: Wallaby Darned at Outback.

(from www.recipezaar.com, though I haven't tried it at home)

    8 ounces frozen sliced peaches
1/2 cup Bacardi Fuzzy Navel mix
    1/2 cup ice
    1/2 cup champagne
    3 fluid ounces water
1 1/2 fluid ounces peach schnapps
    1 1/2 fluid ounces vodka
    1 tablespoon sugar

    1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
    2. Blend on high speed for approx. 30 seconds or until ice is completely crushed and the drink is smooth.
    3. Serve immediately.

I'm pretty sure Abita is my favorite sub-Mason-Dixie beer. Love the Turbodog and Purple Haze.

I'm going to sit back and (hopefully) enjoy a Yankees win while drinking a couple Sierra Nevada Pale Ale's.
