At one bar I go to it's always Newcastle on tap.

At the other it's Sierra Nevada.

I just restarted my budget and now I am drinking Budweiser. It is not very good, but it is booze. So, I can't complain.

Anybody here have Smithwick's before? I think it's a bit bitter, but OK on average.

And IJAG, Hoegaarden is some damn good stuff.

    Never had Smithwick's.

I like lagers and ales. Light-colored beers. Some ambers (like Yuengling, not like Amber bock). Nothing I have to chew or digest.

    Suggestions?

Smithwick's is made by the Guinness people. IIRC, it's the American version of Kilkenny overseas. It's pretty good, no?

Me too, even though it was less than kind to me on the boat train from Rosslare to Fishguard.

  9. Pronounced Smith'icks, BTW.

And why are the Welsh so paranoid as to be guarding their fish, anyway? Christ, the only thing they have more of than fish in that country is consonants.

Allagash white on tap, with a lemon wedge. Yummy.

Eh, put an orange wedge in it and you have yourself a better beer.
