Depends whether is was pedestrian sex or wild monkey sex.

So test tubes and artificial insemination (what a great term) are out, then? :)

If pedestrians are having sex, but not in a crosswalk, do they still get the right of way?

Okay, enough. This is the journ board. Back to work.

Not sure about that, but I know that BYH wouldn't be charged for loitering.

On the subject of this thread, I agree with many others who have said that it's important to know the culture of your workplace. For many posters here who have revealed extensive details (age, location, job (editor, what beat,...), etc) on here, it's not too difficult to deduce who some of them are if a person really wanted to. And as someone else mentioned, there are plenty of people who spend their time just like that, trying to figure out who someone is, for varying reasons.

I fall into pallister's category - Nobody cares who I am, in terms of the sports journalisism community. So I can say a bit more about myself than some others. But as you ascend the importance scale, the more careful you have to be, IMO.

There's a certain WWL columnist I write fairly regularly, and the person has let me know that they know who I am. You have to be careful with what you write, or to not post something in a fit of anger or inebriation that can come back and bite you in the butt.

I've only been here a short time, and I've already had to modify my style on this board at least twice for my own 'protection,' so to speak. I'm fortunate, because my editor is not a hoverer, which allows me to post while I'm working. But I still try to be somewhat careful about not over-indulging on SJ posts while at work.

You would be disappointed when you showed up and ran into a bunch of drunken louts.

I've heard a similar story about another board I used to be on. This one guy in particular posted a lot of snarky stuff, to a point where he just passed himself off as being one unpleasant person to even be around. Even when I heard from another fellow poster who met the guy IRL and said he was totally different, I still consider his posts to be a reflection of how he is as a person. More to the point, I want nothing to do with him.

If I find out someone who's a real ***** here is applying to work for me, I'm not even giving him a courtesy interview. You are what you type.
