As much as I hate to say it, the Cubs are done -- 1.5 runs per game in a park nicknamed the "Juice Box" is fucking pathetic.

    What are the odds on:
    - a fan getting a broken bone in the melee for the home run ball
    - a fan getting stabbed in the melee for the home run ball
    - the injured fan(s) suing the Giants for not providing enough security to prevent the melee from happening

  5. Thought surely he'd leg that into a triple.

I would say the odds of Nos. 1 or 2 are decent, but if either happens, I would suggest the odds of No. 3 shoot up to near certainty.

    But not this inning.

Angel Hernandez needs to be taken to a dimly lit parking lot and be severely beaten.

The outfielders would have to collide and maim themselves for him to get a triple. And the guy in left would have to be oblivious to it for him to go inside-the-park.

Wasn't a dig on the poster. It was meant to be a dig on KC's lack of power. After all, the KC's single-season HR record is 36, set by Bye-Bye Balboni.

    My bad.

I think Bonds is going to hit it tonight, because he has actually faced this guy before and ripped a shot right there.

MLB's idiocy reaches a new low.

The Nationals are a blackout team for us ... even though the Orioles are between us and D.C., and we also have the Birds, Phillies and Pirates as blackout teams. But that's another story.

Anyway, I've got MLB.TV in front of me. Can't get the damn game.

I've got ESPN2 to the left of me. Can't get the damn game.

I turn to ESPN for the at-bat ... and they won't show the friggin' at-bat live. They wait until the at-bat is finished to show it.

    Fuck MLB. Fuckfuckfuckfuck them.

    That is utter bullshit, Shottie.
Is a Fox Sports channel showing it in your area?
