I'm sure this will jinx the Phils tonight, but how in the hell does Dontrelle Willis go 12 starts without a win?

  2. Attention, Cardinals, Astros, etc. The NL Central is yours for the taking.

Pie was called up for Angel Pagan, who was placed on the DL (funny, I don't recall him getting hurt). Sometimes things just work out.

EDIT: Apparently, Pagan has colitis (more or less ulcers), which is funny, because he gives me ulcers when fly balls are hit to him.

Pedro's first rehab start through 3 innings in Class A Fla St League:
    6 hits, 5 runs, 2 HRs, 63 pitches ...ouch!

Jays are beating some Wang tonight.

And Dontrelle is so wild tonight, he threw an obscenely wild pitch ... on a pitchout.

I think I just heard that Smoltz struck out Wright 15 times in 35 at-bats; now 16 in 36. David Wright is certainly Smoltz's bitch.

Sparkling catch by Lastings Milledge at the wall to take a double away from Larry Jones. That one was for Shea.

Anyone else find it a little weird that El Duque has a Cuban flag on his glove? You want to honor the country from which you had to defect in order to have the job you have? Just struck me as really odd.

    Oh yeah?

Gallardo held Colorado to 11 in 2.2 today.
