So who plays Ankiel in the movie? Holy shit, this is fun to watch.

Of course, the Dodgers have to give up 2 homers to the dude, then watch him make that running, falling-down catch at the track.

But, this is a great story.

 

So who's the most unathletic person they can find to play Rick's dad? Guy threw like a girl.

 

Ankiel, the most positive thing to happen to the Cardinals all year. I might have to go to a game now. From throwing cheese to swatting homers, just a great story.

 

Best story of the year. Better than Hamilton. Better than the Brewers. Better than Beckett. If this guy doesn't make you love baseball ... you don't have a soul.
