Games aren't won on paper. Say what you will about the schedule, but the Red Sox need to win more games against weaker opponents -- like the Yankees have done recently -- and against the Yankees to lock up the division. Otherwise, it's going to be a toss up.

 

Never saw Walter Johnson get tuned up..he was always lights out when I was there (oh, wait, there were no lights then!).

Red Sox starters and pen are better than the Yankees. But the Red Sox have no balls. They will choke.

 

And I don't want to get on Minaya too much, but Henry Owens and Heath Bell look a lot better than Jason Vargas and Ben Johnson.
