Damn, Robinson Cano is red-hot. 3-for-3 today, just hit an RBI single to make it 3-0 and is now hitting .315 on the season. Not too shabby considering he was hitting in the low .200s a couple of months ago.

That is a blasphemous thing to say.

Well, Reyes just homered to tie the score at 4. So, if you stopped watching, HB, keep watching NASCAR. We'll let you know how this one finishes.

I'm not opposed to that train of thought. But if New York does go onto win this game, I'm sure Minaya will issue a statement.

Angola, what are the chances Torre lets Pettitte go the distance in this one?

Lads, I ain't the problem. The problem is that the Mets have played with their heads up their asses since June.

Unless Pettitte has a no-hitter or perfect game going, there's no shot.

Sweetness. Mike DiFelice is behind the plate. Only good things can happen in Flushing now.

He will let him pitch into the 8th if he is still dealing. Their aren't a lot of bullpen arms available right now.

And he has only thrown 69 pitches through 6.
