Yeah, I'm watching that unfold right now.

Today, I'm rooting for the Yankees. And it's today only. My grandma made the trip from New York to Buffalo to Cleveland in the last couple days just to see the Yankees on her 80th birthday today. Starting tomorrow, they can lose every single game until Sept. 30.

    Bases loaded, no one out.

And Pettitte picks a runner off first for out No. 1.

Jhonny Peralta...complete moron! Should be fined $10,000 for that baserunning stunt

Barry Zito's starting out strong, too. He's issued two walks to the Pirates to start the first inning in San Francisco. What a waste of $126 million.

How'd he get picked off -- for those of us with no Yankees feed?

UPDATE: Make that three walks to the first three batters.

bases loaded, no outs, 3-2 on the batter... Peralta, not being held on, roams about 20 feet off the base, Phillips slips in behind him, Pettitte nails him. Kills the inning.

    Absolutley pathetic..

I don't know how the hell Zito got out of that bases-loaded, no one out jam in the first. Oh, yeah. He's playing the Pirates.

If I may make a prediction, which will come as no surprise to anyone who knows me ...

The Mets will be in third place in the NL East by Sept. 1.

    Carry on.
