Believe whatever you want to believe, man. The work ethic thing is an issue for Rubio, as is the financial stewardship thing. Maybe it doesn't keep him from the nomination, though.

It really is an issue. Should it be? Not my call. It has been used against him already and his attendance continues to get worse. And what happened in the past is irrelevant to that.

Which says nothing to Obama's reputation in regards to his work ethic.

Do we really have someone who has "covered politics" demanding evidence that political candidates try to use the media to plant stories about their opponents? Especially stories that make their opponents look bad?

The financial stewardship thing is a great big ball of nothing. It was a witch hunt that came up empty, so was made to seem like a huge deal even though it clearly isn't.

    Funny, right?

And, I know from experience how this works, but since I was on one end, and not the other, my experience doesn't count according to him.

Dude, he bought a boat! He's not rich, and he bought a boat. Do you not see how bad that looks for him?

Believe whatever you want to believe. You want to make Rubio's flaws about a two-term president from the opposing party, do that. That's a boring thing to debate, but whatever.

Marco Rubio is plenty likable. You compare him to Cruz or Bush or H. Clinton, not the same work ethic.

It's an issue. I'm not writing that as some partisan, either. If you think I'm wrong, so be it.

The rap on Rubio is he's kind of a flake. That he's not a 2 am president.

You're the one who claimed Obama had a reputation as a hard worker, so missing votes wasn't as big an issue for him.

He might be the hardest worker of all time. I just don't think he had built up some kind of "reputation" for hard work prior to his run for President.

Maybe he did. I just don't remember ever hearing it.
