I agree, but it would be interesting to consider who was the surest bet/easiest to peg going into their presidency. I'd imagine Nixon and H.W. Bush are in that discussion in recent times.

An 8-year VP, at least theoretically, should probably have a pretty good idea of how the office actually works.

When you became aware of the chasm in intelligence between you and the rest of the brightest lights of western civilization, was that when you also decided that you'd never again deal with trivial things like facts and accuracy?

English, it's a language in common use around these parts. Do you speak it?

Sorry your lawn jockey is getting in deeper and deeper every day.

He's not mine. But he hasn't been under contract, either.

The replies to the Kristof tweet are awesome.

Liberals are unable to find anything redeeming about a guy whose politics they disagree with.

Kinda reminds me of one of the NQT crowd ... "Provide five examples of things your crowd did that I'd consider good. Otherwise you've got nothing."

You haven't even been to come up with one example.

So, we'll try one more time. Name five things that the Republican Party has done in the last 25 years to solely help the middle class. Middle class, for this purpose, is described as people who make between $30K-$80K, since the median income is around $55K and it is a $25K swing in each direction. It cannot be anything that has also helped the wealthy, since the wealthy are doing just fine without government help. Go.
