Hilarious. That's the only way it works.

"The Audacity of Hope" wasn't really an autobiography. It was the mish-mash of personal anecdotes and broad policy visions that every candidate writes.

This is all going to be very harmful to Obama when he tries to suspend this election and declare himself emperor.

PS -- Rachel Maddow is a clown.

I'm not the one claiming the media has vetted Carson, am I? Have I said we shouldn’t vet his academic records? The media isn't doing their jobs if they don’t vet his academic records. This really isn't difficult.

Yes. Exactly. Your pitch is devoid of policy or accomplishments.

Obama was inspiring based upon his self authored, personal narrative.

    We are in agreement.

You know, Carson has said he was the beneficiary of race-based affirmative action. I have it my head that President Obama and his more fevered supporters would be loathe to admit such if that were the case.

Then I guess he shouldn't have a problem releasing his records. What's the harm, after all? I'm only thinking about this from his perspective. Erase the doubts. He said he had the highest SAT score in Detroit, ever. Shouldn't he release this, so that people aren't skeptical? I'm concerned that people will be skeptical otherwise.

The media is going after Carson because he is black.

I'm pretty sure no president has ever released his academic transcripts.

I think Dubya did. It was quite the blow to the "He's stupid!" crowd to find that he was a better student (with higher SAT numbers) than Kerry.

On edit: No, he didn't release them. They were leaked.
