    I have no idea if Hillary is telling the truth but I do know that joining the reserves after law school so you can be a JAG lawyer is fairly common,

    The Marines part gives it a twist but I know three Army JAG lawyers and that's what they did.

    It wouldn't surprise me, at all, if the Marines part is bullshit, but approaching a military recruiter to ask about about the reserves (with the thought of going the JAG route) is entirely possible.
