Best Autographs You Ever Got

My best autograph story is one that I don't even have anymore (I sure wish I did).

When I was 7 years old, my mother took me to see Andre the Giant wrestle. My sister and I stood by his corner trying to get his attention as he was signing autographs (as wrestlers did before their match in the good old days).

I was so much smaller than the other kids and was getting nowhere, so I climbed halfway through the ropes and poked Andre in the leg with my pencil.

He looked down, signed my book, then picked me up and put me over the ropes. My mother said I looked like I'd seen a ghost.
