Since this thread is back around ...

Baja Burger isn't a chain. It's owned by the folks who own Taziki's (which is a local chain of Greek restaraunts). Which means you can get lamb burgers, feta cheese and/or burgers with Taziki's sauce.

Yum. Lamb burgers, tzatziki and feta cheese.

Guess it's too far a drive from here.

    Sparky's, Hatch, N.M.

Try the "World Famous". It's a green chile cheeseburger -- they were invented in Hatch, using fresh roasted chiles from the fields down the road -- and is ridiculously good.

Next door to my office. Come make an afternoon of it.

  6. Five Guys here in DC. $4.50 for a little cheese with lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, jalapenos (like Obama) and A1.

    RACK THAT.

    Boy, that sounds good, JR.

But it's a bit out of my area :) So I have to settle for gyros.

Fatburger opened up a place in suburban Baltimore, owned by Orlando Brown.

As I mentioned earlier on this thread, they've got two locations in Atlanta now. Good stuff.

Only went there once (I don't live as close to the ATL as I used to), but one thing I noticed was the way the staff engaged the customers. Not sure if that was just that one location or the entire chain, but the cashier and the line cooks made a point to refer to you by name during the entire wait for your food (they take your name when you order).

"(Steak), you need a refill on your drink?"

"(Steak), you had no onions on that burger, right?"

Just a little thing that scored some points in my book ...
