I now have a reason to visit Omaha.

Gryo + double feta cheesburger = awesome.

I love me some Red Robin, the Banzai Burger (pineapple) in particular.
I also like A&W, had one earlier this year and was surprised how good it was.
When I lived in Iowa, I liked Culver's, though I mainly went for the cheese curds and deserts.
Someone else mentioned being disappointed by In-N-Out and I agree. Went once while passing through San Diego. Not terrible, but not great, especially considering the hype. Who knows, I could have just gotten a bad sample.

It sounds and looks revolting. I don't want to eat one.
But for some reason it makes me glad that people do eat it.

We've got a few Culvers in the burbs around here. Been there a couple of times, and the burgers are pretty good.

But, isn't the bun just buttered and toasted:

I don't see anything about drenching it in butter.

I was watching a show called 'Burger Land.' I'm not sure what channel it was, Cooking or Travel.
And the host at a Wisconsin place called Solly's. It was drenched in butter:

    It's swimming in butter.

That's incorrect. They like to do both at the same time.

There are three classes of burgers...

    1. Frozen patties - they suck
    2. Ground beef, hand formed - they are pretty damn good
    3. Ground from local beef and not from a a slaughter house, so freaking pure you can see the cow's face - heaven

I've had burgers at Solly's in Milwaukee. They're buttery, for sure, but the thing I like the most is that you don't need any ketchup or mustard. Perfect with onions and butter. That's all you need.
