They still make Ball Park Franks? They plump when you cook 'em ...

As far as I'm concerned, it's not even close.

    They're the best.

But we all have our own tastes/faves.

    Peace.

    Dear Jesus,
What do you care? In your present state, the best dog is a free one.
    Been there, doing that.
    Love, Slappy

Pink's is the best hot dog I've ever had. But, I would like to second the Nathan's at Sam's Club from above. For a $1.87 you get a dog (a damn-good one) and a soda. Tough to beat.

Second page and references to neither soggy, saggy, flabby, flaccid tubes of rotting animal flesh, floating in a fetid bath of malodorous swill, nor Martinsville dogs.

Hebrew National w/soda, $1.50 at Costco.
Always loved grilled Dodger Dogs, but now you get your ass beat going to where they sell them.

Well, there was the Notre Dame reference, although recent members may not get that reference.

I like this deal. Trust me.
But, the Hebrew Nationals aren't in the same league as Nathan's for me.
(Good eats: a package of the Nathan's, and boil with three quarts of water and two cans of Guinness.)

hebrew national and nathan's are in a dead heat, according to my taste buds. can't go wrong either way. sabrett's are third.

no other is even close to out 'top 3.' NOT. EVEN. CLOSE. :D :D :D

as an aside, 'gulden's' is the only mustard that should EVER top a dog. if saurekraut is available, too, perfection. but any of out 'top 3' are just fine if the 'gulden's' must go solo as the topping.

yup, the mouth waters as we type... 8) :D ;)

note to self: eldest son shockey must drive his dad and brothers to coney island by july 4 for our annual 'dogs/fries/coke or beer' boys lunch out. if shockey's dad can meet us on the boardwalk, well, perfection, right there...

The Gray's Papaya in midtown closed within the past few months, which is sad.

A great tag line, but they pale in comparison to the established class (HN and Nat's) . . .
