Best Hot Dogs

Isn't there a place in NJ that deep fries their hot dogs until they Split? That sounds good.

If you're ever up in CT, there is a hole in the wall place in New Britain called Capitol Lunch. Looks like a school cafeteria circa 1965, complete with plastic orange chairs. The only condiment is a homemade chili sauce that has has a hint of cinnamon.

 

You're talking about Rutt's Hutt, and they are my favorite dog, hands down.

An ex-boss of my wife, a medical man, used to say: "At the meat market, at the end of the day they sweep the floor and that's what they make the hot dogs out of."
Cracks me up whenever I get hot dogs ... or about three times a week.

 

That's how Wendy's makes their chili. C'mon, everybody knows that.
