Best MLB cap of all time?

I bought a fitted black Reds hat when they wore them. The colors work, but what really makes it pop is the way they off-set the white under the red.

I got one of these last August when I was in Seattle and saw a game at Safeco (I got mainly because I'm a big fan of "Ball Four"). What was great was when I got back and wore it at work one Saturday. Some young 'un in the sports department was looking at it trying to figure out what team it was. He had no clue.

Also, if you're ever at Safeco, the gift shop there has a pretty impressive selection of caps, current and past MLB, as well as minor league ones.

 

I've been pretty disappointed in the minor league stadium stores I've been to, that they don't offer much in the way of other teams' caps.

 

Because they're not fashionable, as the article was going for.

 

Gotcha. I was looking at Chris Creamer's site last night and got that info there.

 

I've been going to minor-league games when I've had the chance since the mid-90s, and I've found pretty much all of them sell the home team's merchandise and nothing else.

 

I loved the Expos cap and have the early 80s Padres, Mariners, and Brewers.

I like the clean hats with plain letters as well, like KC's.

I did like the ASG logo'd hats this year as well, but I think it would be better for a soccer club.

 

A salary cap.

 

i have always loved the portland sea dogs cap.

 

I'm with ya. I had that one at one point, too. Wore it out.
