In what sense? Like in where did the conversation divert or in you want to know the deepest darkest secrets of a rugby players initiation at his club?

Jim McMahon won a Super Bowl. He should be on this list.

Gary Hogeboom nearly won Survivor. I vote for that guy.

Fran Tarkenton, while not #1, deserves to be a top 10 QB, he was better than Farve & Bradshaw.
Also Staubach, as much as I hated and hate Dallas, was one of the best, ever.

Your argument might have a bit more credibility if you were able to spell Favre right...

Took me a long time to forgive Cowher for sitting him and playing O'Donnell in that playoff game against the Bills. Bubby wasn't the starter any more, but he'd been playing very well while O'Donnell was out. Cowher goes with the VERY rusty O'Donnell and one of many playoff disappointments is the result.

Either way, Favre isn't one of those I consider the best of the best, numbers aside. Vinny Testaverde, Dave Kreig, Boomer Esiason and Drew Bledsoe are in the top 15 all time TD passes. And more than yardage, and completions, # of TDs and passing percentage are the 2 best stats to use to judge QBs.

Guess I'm not a Favre fan. There are others I'd say were better and Tarkenton and Staubach belong on the poll list before Favre's name.

Something is wrong with you now if you don't think Favre is one of the best off all-time.

I voted Elway. Went to a record five Super Bowls, carried some so-so teams along the way and then won it all twice. Plus, he had a rocket arm and good mobility.

Elway had a rocket arm, that's true. But Peyton Manning has a lazer-rocket arm. [/sprint]
