If you mention Dilweg, you have to mention Blair Kiel ... The Sorcerer!

By the time Manning retiers he might have more rings than Elway, because he still has about
9-10 more years left in him playing at the level that he is playing at.

But you also shouldn't overlook Steve Taneyhill.

I give him five more years, tops (at that level anyway), he will probably be like Favre and play 3-5 years longer than he should

    I know, slappy.

    I mentioned him.

And then he made the poll, only to cruelly be ripped down later.

No list is complete without Mark Vlasic.

Again, that's your opinion. Leaving Joe Montana out of my top five is mine.

I wasn't blown away by Montana. I know that will invite flames. I know people will throw "he won four Super Bowls, and Dan Marino won none" crap at me. So did Terry Bradshaw, and I don't see many non-Steelers fans clamoring for me to include him.

I will admit I had absolutely no love for the Niners, Montana included. But I honestly think Montana is a system quarterback who had all the top-notch pieces around him (save a good running game for SF's first title). Some will say I shouldn't punish him for that, and maybe those critics are right.

But in my top 5, there is no Joe Montana. He's great ... but I know five greater.
