That's right. Witness Brad Johnson's and Trent Dilfer's greatness.

Yeah, sorry about that. I've got to learn not to be lazy and use the sarcasm font more often.

    Sigh.

OK, everyone, do I have to do this again?

The NFL did not begin in 1983. Thanks for including Unitas in this discussion, but any debate about the greatest QBs of all time must include Otto Graham and Bobby Layne, and perhaps Sammy Baugh, Sid Luckman and maybe even Norm Van Brocklin. Don't be fooled by the numbers. Back then, DBs could mug WRs all the way down the field, blockers couldn't extend their arms or open their hands, pass rushers could use the head slap, etc. Measure them against their eras and those guys rise to the top.

That said, once again I'll take Montana by a hair over Unitas.

Yea what ever nigga do you ever watch NFL network when they show old time games for the 70s 60s and so on those DB's were a joke they so small I could run over them come on man.

    Interesting discussion here.

Two on the list have won four Super Bowls. One, as of this writing, has 26 votes, the other has 1. Then there's the only QB in history to lead his team to five NFL titles (in seven years), and he's not even on the ballot.

I don't know who to vote for because I don't know how to compare guys from far before my time to guys I've watched and appreciated. sigh.

And Tony, one of those guys with four Super Bowls was added as a choice really, really late in the game.
