There's a place on Route 66 outside of Edmond, OK, that has a bazillion different kinds of sodas, and you can get Boylan's there. Their cream soda is in fact the best I've ever had.

You can also get Avery's there.

I have to give a shout out to Oklahoma's own Schwab's Finest Meats and their awesome Brick Chili. It's like a heart attack in a little brick-shaped package. So good.

Shame, shame, shame on me ... how'd I forget the legendary Primanti's?

(WTF ... there are Primanti's in Florida? That's just wrong)

Dogs and pickles at Tony Packos
A coney Island in Detroit at Onassis or Lafayette, just like Biden and Granmole did today
Paczkis in metro Detroit just before Lent -- none of this Kroger shit, from a real bakery...

I suppose I should mention my neighbors, Goose Island Brewery in Chicago.

They brew some damn good beers that are available in bars, restaurants, and grocery stores throughout the Chicagoland area.

Edit: And Intelligentsia Coffee. Available at lots of coffee shops & restaurants here. They also roast in LA, and various coffee shops around the country have the beans shipped to them.

Good call. Forgot about them earlier.

    I'll add another one.

Tony's Restaurant in Birch Run, MI. There are others in Saginaw area as well.

Great steak sandwiches. Huge breakfast orders. You get about a pound of bacon with your eggs and about the same amount on a BLT.
Link has photos of a huge sundae and the BLT.

Here's one I bet most of the board hasn't heard of. Brant's Bologna in Lucas, Kansas. It's a Hell of a lot different and better than any bologna you'll find in a supermarket.
