    Marionberry?

Does that mean I could walk into a Burgerville location and ask the "bitch" to "set me up" with a Marionberry shake?

Certainly. They come with straws that have wide openings as well.

And one other regional favorite from my era in a very cold part of the universe: Tom & Jerry's at Christmas. Yum. Tiger meat, not so much.

Sounds like you better get busy.

Oh, and I would recommend Capital Lunch and get a hot dog with their special chili sauce (its ground beef with a hint of cinnamon and oh so wonderful). And anywhere on Broad St for Polish food.

@ KP, my ex turned me onto Coffee Milk (she was from Fall River. Might be semantics, but still Mass)

@ JR had poutine on my last trip to Montreal. Awesome with smoked meat (another regional food I would argue)

Nolechek Meats, the pride of Thorp, Wisconsin. Best bratwurst and summer sausage you will ever taste. If you have LaGranders cheese curds with Nolechek bratwurst and a bottle of Spotted Cow, you are enjoying heaven on Earth.

From Pittsburgh, as already has been mentioned, Isaly's Chipped Ham is phenomenal. And Mineo's for pizza. Also Potato Patch Fries at Kennywood. And Quaker Steak and Lube wings. If you've never tried the Louisiana Lickers sauce, it's to die for.

Elsewhere, White House Sub Shop in Atlantic City is must-have regional fare. The bread is amazing. Others might say Mack and Manco's Pizza in Ocean City, but I totally disagree.

    Great calls, mjp.

The fries are excellent all by their lonesome. Add some cheese ... my Tebow.

As for Quaker State, I remember making the drive to Cranberry for all you can eat wing nights. They're very good, but can't hold a candle to Fat Head's on the South Side.

I lived in Eastern Pa. for most of my childhood and would make a six-hour drive for Rosenberger’s iced tea and chocolate milk.

Agreed about Fat Heads. So many sauce selections, plus the wings are huge and delicious. Yes, better than Quaker Steak, and the beer selection just adds to it. But I'll stand by Quaker Steak's Louisiana Lickers sauce as something I've never tasted, even similarly, anywhere else. And the Tuesday night all-you-can-eat night was a staple of the college diet!

Damn, forgot about Fat Head's. I've been away far too long. I'm going to have to incorporate that into my next visit. Even my stomach can't handle too much Mineo's, though I have certainly tested those limits many times.

Abie's in Montreal is highly recommended for smoked meat. I'm still working through the two pounds I brought home from the NHL draft. Awesome rye bread too.

JR might have some ideas but it's tough for me to think of much in Toronto that's strictly regional. Much of the good stuff available here has come from somewhere else.

We must not have any Nebraskans on the board, otherwise somebody would have mentioned Runza. It's not my favorite, but folks there love 'em a Runza almost as much as they love the Huskers.
