Best Van Halen Song

You can tag me in if you get tired! I am taking Huggy Jr to see Kiss' final - this time we really mean it - show in Toronto in August. Can't wait.

 

No matter what any of us think of the rationale within any of the replies on this thread, they all make more sense than this.

 

You can't be serious. Kiss is T.R.A.S.H.

 

No need to fight me. As I said, I love Kiss. I had Sirius/Xm locked on to Kiss Army radio for all of Feb. and was bummed when it ended. So many good songs. But so, so many more bad ones. Loved every single one of them.

 

Spot on, even the bad songs, like "Let's Put the 'X' in Sex" were great.

 

And since Kiss has been mentioned on a Van Halen thread, Eddie caused more kids to pick up guitars in the 70s than anyone this side of Ace Frehley.

 

Little Guitars is their best song.

 

That was me. I've never met a person who agrees with me.
Yet my ears hear what my ears hear. Sinatra sounds tinny. Derivative. Terrible.

When I clicked on this thread, I hoped Little Guitars would get some love. I have no argument with Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love being the best VH song but I could listen to Little Guitars on repeat over and over.

Not everybody's tastes are going to agree.

I just listened to Summer Wind. To me, it sounds like a song version of paint by numbers. Stilted, halting, and like he's singing it the very first time he's heard the music.

And his voice stinks.
