    "Virtual airline" is that just what FS clubs call themselves? Or do y'all actually run them like an airline complete with unneeded delays, canceled flights and lost luggage?

    :)

    Hustle, I knew you were cool beyond all comparison, but this takes the cake.

    I've just started flying on FlightSim X and will start my training in real planes soon.

    If I had high-speed internet at home, I would so be in the airline thing.

    I know a guy who played the entire 1981 season - every team, every game - on Strat-O-Matic. Took him something like 11 years.

    dont really play video games besides guitar hero anymore, but here are my top 10:
    1. grand theft auto III/vice city/san andreas
    2. super mario 3
    3. the princess zelda ocarina game on n64...havent played it for years and completely forget much of but i remember it was so much fun. and one of the first real epic video games. i loved how it would turn dark at night. and i remember going on chicken killing sprees for hours.
    4. goldeneye/perfect dark
    5. kingdom hearts (ok im a loser, but those games are fun as hell. disney + final fantasy is an excellent combo
    6. nfl blitz. arcade.
    7. ms. pac-man. arcade
    8. those donkey kong platform games were incredible.
    9. tony hawk pro's skater 3. definitely the best gameplaying version of the game and the soundtrack is my favorite for any video game ever.
    10. sonic the hedgehog. the first sonic was fantastic and the first video game i ever played. 2nd was also fun with the weird races and the ability to play as knuckles the echidna.

    Late to the game and this is a requote from page 1, but Okie is definitely right on this one. The game was so graphically beautiful, the music was wonderful, the breadth of the game was incredibly spacious and the gameplay itself was challenging regardless of the level. How many games let you play the character as a young person, then as an adult?

    My top 10:

    * Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
    * Dark Cloud 2
    * RC Pro AM
    * Super Mario Bros. 3
    * Madden 2005
    * NCAA Football 2008
    * Baldur's Gate
    * The Guy Game
    * NASCAR: Chase for the Cup
    * NFL Head Coach, which is probably also one of my most hated games because it's ridiculously difficult, obtuse and frustrating.

    The Guy Game? Isn't that considered one of the worst games ever? Like the worst Girls Gone Wild video crossed with a host more obnoxious than Mark Summers, crossed with a strange obsession of bouncing breasts and little else?

    As much as I love all the sports games, I have to say Halo. It kept me going for a week until I beat it and there's still nothing better than getting together with college friends and killing each other for hours, or going online and killing strangers for hours.

    Does anyone here remember California Games? It wasn't the best game, but I liked it a lot.

    Heck, yes I remember that game - frisbee, Hacky sack, BMX, skateboarding and surfing.

    All those games were great. I had World Games (with the log-rolling, caber tossing, bullriding and barrel jumping on skates) Summer Games, Summer Games II and Winter Games on my C64.
