The Cinnabon is in Nebraska, right? That’s where Kim is from.

I am saving the show on You Tube TV and their are some bonuses in the library. The writers have produced a Saul Goodman episode of American Greed, a true crime show on of the endless cable networks that broadcast such shows.

So Gus is SUPER SUPER careful about being protected in his two homes against a Lalo surprise attack. Yet he works the counter at the chicken place? Come on.

And as I've said forever, Saul is the least likeable character on the show, and the least interesting of the main characters. I have failed to understand what huge grievances Howard has done to be the recipient of these idiotic con jobs that Saul and Kim pull on him.

As always, more mexicans, less Saul.

Lalo is an assassin, and the stakes now are so personal that he'd want to take care of the Chicken Man up close and personal. He also knows it'd be bad for the cartel's business to cause a scene.
He might kill Gus while he's walking to his car at the end of the night. He might try to break into Gus' home and wait to ambush him. One thing he's not going to do is shoot up a Los Pollos Hermanos in the middle of the lunch rush to get his revenge. Working the counter in front of 50 people is probably the safest place Gus could be.

Kim Wexler looked incredible in last night’s episode. Lighting, angles, tank top.

Is it just me or does Lalo look a lot like ‘70s/‘80s Burt Reynolds?

Are they stalling or are they ramping up tension for the midseason finale?

I hope it’s the latter. Someone I listened to pointed out the viewers are the Sandpiper residents and the producers of the show are Howard Hamlin, coaxing us to be patient.

I like the show and am, I think, a forgiving viewer, but I am a little concerned about the plausibility of Kim throwing away her dream pro bono project to make sure their plan against Howard Hamlin goes off on the intended day.

    Kim is breaking bad.

If you recall, Jimmy at first dismissed the idea of going after Howard, but Kim basically talked him into it.

Kim’s childhood flashback just isn’t enough groundwork to justify that decision. Walter White’s pride and Jimmy McGill’s insecurities were built brick-by-brick for years to get to their otherwise moronic decisions. Kim has been too calculating and smart to make that irrational of a decision.

I think Kim is made of sterner stuff than Jimmy, more of a survivor in some ways. That's why she hasn't told him about Lalo, because she recognizes it'll throw him off his game. I still think that she "screws" Jimmy out of money in some way, and might even be the first to use the services of Best Quality Vacuum.

An angle I hadn’t thought of. The stopper being the symbol of her playing her final slip on Jimmy himself. And “Gene” disappearing to Nebraska in the remote chance she reappears in her hometown, perhaps.
