Beverly Hills Cop 4?!

    I was wrong. Coming to America was funny and that was "only" 18 years ago. So he has been funny once since Beverly Hills Cop.

    And since Eddie likes making family movies now--that's his rationale for not releasing Comedian on DVD, which makes no sense since he'd make money hand over fist by releasing it--my guess is Beverly Hills Cop IV will be a tame PG-13. Probably some crap about how Axel's got kids and they're entertained when daddy makes silly noises, or some shit.

    Sure, if some white guy wanted to make a fourth sequel to his hit franchise 19 years after his last crusade, everyone would love it and be all geared up for it. But if a black guy wants to do it, the insults fly!

    I watched the original the other day and, while kind of schlocky, it was still a pretty damn good movie.

    That truck chase scene at the beginning was pretty cool.

    Agreed. But you know if that movie came out today, Axel would have bedded Jenny within a half-hour of arriving in Beverly Hills.
