    Well, bollocks.

Go home, everyone, Jeshua Brott says party's over. Lemme get the rest of my Samuel Adams out of the fridge.

  4. New sports section editor began work on Monday with a smile. How long until he realizes the type of people that he is working for?

That smile will turn into one big frown within six weeks, give or take a day.

It probably turned into a mask of horrified terror at approximately 9:10 a.m. Tuesday morning, when the first ass-reaming phone call from Yardley arrived.

    Welcome to the machine.

They didn't print his name, office phone and e-mail address in the paper until Wednesday (at least I think it was Wednesday). So that first reaming phone call likely didn't arrive until then.
Unfortunately they didn't run it in the online edition or else I would've posted a link.

  10. Those two employees have now received demotions to positions in the news section. The one person had been promised he would be sports section editor and the other person had been promised she would be news section editor. They both handled the duties of those two positions until last week, without any pay raise, when a new sports section editor was hired from outside the company. This hire led to the demotions of the two longtime employees of The Trentonian. The newspaper's publisher actually posted a memo announcing the demotions for added humiliation to the two employees.
