It's like eavesdropping on a conversation while sitting in a restaurant, isn't it? You want to turn around to see who exactly is saying this kind of stuff. But you know if you do they'll notice and stop talking. Entertaining as hell.

I wonder whose jersey Marie Antoinette's father wore for the first 18 14 years of her life.

  3. Do you have something of substance to add?

The comment was directed at zag, who I'm pretty sure has a daughter.

Everything's all about absolutes until it's your daughter.

And trust me guys with daughters... you think you've done the perfect job raising her? Trying to instill what's important and what's not? Well your daughter will make some mistakes of this nature.

When I'm out ogling I always try to keep it to women around my own age.

  6. That doesn't mean you shouldn't try to do your best. And to me that means not putting a class of individuals on a pedestal. Maybe she still goes home with the hotshot QB of the time. But I think the likelihood would be less if I didn't raise her to think that that person is better than her or to be exalted.

So once you have a daughter you can't look at a beautiful women?

What does any of this have to do with people staring at women or men. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. There are good looking people in this world, human beings will look at good looking people.

Becoming rude or acting on it is a completely different issue.

We're getting a little off topic here. The discussion started when some of you were coming down hard on the young woman who went back to Ben's house. I tried to offer up an explanation as to why - including the power of sexuality that young women hold, but often don't know how to handle.

Zag brought up something about looking at women in a bar, which only supports my point.

You old married men can do whatever you want. Just stay away from my niece.

First of all - if my daughter goes to a bar dressed like a slut, then (a) I haven't done my job and (b) she obviously WANTS people to look at her.

Second, are you telling me you don't notice attractice men? Is that what you are saying?

    Stop being ridiculous.

The point is I stay away from all these women. That's the point.

Yeah, come on TSP, don't you have some lame pop psychology that you've formulated and can't wait to share?

Sorry if I'm not understanding you but how does looking at a women in a bar prove your point. I ask the ladies of this site do you look at men in a bar? Looking and acting are 2 different things.

Why are the majority of movie stars both women and men good looking people?
