I'm neither wrong, nor have I had my feelings hurt, so I'll respond.

You're a whiny, thin-skinned fanboy. You do nothing except argue for the sake of arguing. And your presence in any debate results in one of three things:

1. You're right, but you're right in such an insufferable way that it pains anyone to agree with you, so no one does, so the argument continues.

But since your being right is rare, that leads to:

2. You're super duper uber-wrong. And everyone knows it and several people enjoy calling you on it, which you can't handle without responding with some sort of ad hominem attack (Reading comprehension; You add nothing to the debate, as usual; Translation, etc.). This continues until a thread is locked.

This happens often, unless:
3. You're super duper uber-wrong, but you do it in such an insufferable manner that everyone just rolls their eyes and ignores you.

This would be tolerable if you had a sense of humor or brought something else to the table. But you don't.

I'd also like to remind you that you're the only one to curse at another poster in this argument, i.e. "YouGottaBeFuckingWrong," so any half-hearted attempt by you to take the high road will be viewed as the hypocrisy it is.

By the way, do you know what YGBFKM stands for? That might help you understand a thing or two.

Amazing the response to questioning things on a message board for journalists. Actually, that's the wrong word. Sad is a better one.

Here we go with the terrible comparisons again. Gambling on the game. Every league treats that like a special offense.

Not to mention the fact that you are reaching back 47 years for that one. Kind of a different league now. If you are going to drag something that old up, what about Leonard Little? He killed a woman while driving drunk. Went to jail for far too short of a time for it. Then, a few years later, he is arrested for DUI. The charge gets reduced and he avoids more jail time (talk about a failure of the legal system), but isn't that at least as bad as what Roethlisberger did? Isn't that a pattern of behavior that threatens the safety of others (something Goodell wrote about in his letter to Roethlisberger)?

Is it a fair comparison? No, because it was before the current policy was in place. But it is a hell of a lot more relevant than what you brought up.

Nothing from Tagliabue's era of impotent discipline applies here, except to say, "Wow, the NFL used to let dudes get away with whatever they pleased."

Piotr, that was my point. Az is using an example from 1963. Not just a different commissioner, but a vastly different league. I conceded that Little wasn't a fair comparison. But it is a better one than Karras and Hornung.

It gave linebacker James Harrison a six-year, $51,175,000 contract after he was involved in a domestic-abuse incident. It didn't trade wide receiver Santonio Holmes until after he had his fourth episode involving police intervention, made a series of offensive tweets on Twitter and was suspended for four games for violating the NFL's substance-abuse program.

Trading Roethlisberger isn't going to restore the Steelers' image.

They've proved they are no different than any other team that wants to win.

All trading Roethlisberger would do is weaken the Steelers from a competitive standpoint.

Where is the good in that?

Says Ben is guilty of poor judgement. QB Want to stay in Pittsburgh and does NOT believe Steelers will trade him.

If you beleive that punishing people that the police and the courts do not punish is idiotic, then it is idiotic.

That is something that I do not beleive in, and I do not forget this belief on certain occasions.

But that's not what you said. You said if no one is punished by the police, why should they be punished period? Does anyone get punished for anything, even a one or two day suspenion (in or out of school even) without the cops getting involved?
